Welcome to Hope Foundation

Our History

The Hope Foundation was born out of a simple, yet powerful desire — to uplift the forgotten, serve the neglected, and bring dignity to those who need it most. What began as a few acts of kindness by our founder, Mr. Anil Chandrakar Toppo, has today grown into a full-fledged movement of social change.

The Humble Beginnings

In the early 2020s, Mr. Toppo, a young MBA graduate and the proprietor of Shree Balajee Tiles and Marbles, started noticing the widening gap between economic progress and human suffering around him. While he built his business with dedication and honesty, his heart remained close to the struggles of elderly individuals abandoned by their families, children deprived of quality education, and women lacking access to basic opportunities.

He began by personally supporting elderly people, funding local tuition for underprivileged students, and contributing towards community health initiatives — all from his personal income. These small efforts sowed the seeds of a greater mission.

The Turning Point

It was during one such outreach effort that Mr. Toppo realized the impact could be far greater if structured under a common platform. The vision crystallized: a foundation that serves people with compassion, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

In 2025, Hope Foundation was formally registered as a non-profit organization with a clear purpose — to work across multiple dimensions of social development including elderly care, education, healthcare, women upliftment, skill-building, and community development.

Growing Footprint, Deeper Impact

Over the years, Hope Foundation has:

  • Set up support systems for senior citizens, offering food, companionship, and dignity in their twilight years.
  • Sponsored school fees, uniforms, and books for hundreds of children, especially girls, to complete their education.
  • Organized free health camps, blood donation drives, and wellness awareness campaigns across rural and urban areas.
  • Empowered women through training, livelihood skills, and leadership programs.
  • Created vocational training workshops and partnered with small businesses to provide employment support to youth.
  • Built a community of volunteers, trustees, and donors who believe in giving back to society.

Sustained by Values, Strengthened by People

What keeps Hope Foundation strong is not just donations or grants — it’s the spirit of giving, empathy, and collaboration that fuels every initiative. From a small town to expanding across districts and reaching thousands of lives, our history is a testament to what vision, compassion, and collective action can achieve.
